Metabolic stability on hepatocytes

Metabolism corresponds to the transformation of compounds in the body by enzymatic means.

Hepatocytes possess the major enzymes allowing the metabolism of xenobiotics.

They allow the simultaneous study of the main biotransformation reactions carried out in the liver: hydrolysis, reduction, oxidation and conjugation.

This test consists of measuring both the disappearance of the starting molecules and the appearance of their metabolites.

Hepatocytes of different species are available: human, mouse, rat, dog, monkey.
